Maintenant, ce dont les leaders ont besoin, ce sont des <strong>capacit\u00e9s de r\u00e9silience fond\u00e9es sur la science<\/strong>, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire \u00ab\u00a0<em>se pr\u00e9parer, r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer, et s&#8217;adapter<\/em> <em>au stress, aux \u00e9preuves et\/ou \u00e0 l&#8217;adversit\u00e9\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb<em> (Institut HeartMath)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s plus de vingt ans dans des r\u00f4les ex\u00e9cutifs exigeants, j\u2019ai pu constater que les leaders capables de s\u2019autor\u00e9guler et de rebondir rapidement obtenaient syst\u00e9matiquement de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats que les autres. Cette observation m\u2019a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 me poser la question suivante\u00a0: <em>pourquoi certains leaders r\u00e9cup\u00e8rent-ils avec agilit\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir subi de fortes pressions, tandis que d\u2019autres sombrent dans l\u2019\u00e9puisement professionnel?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9ponse r\u00e9side dans la science de la coh\u00e9rence et de la r\u00e9gulation \u00e9motionnelle en temps r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Pourquoi la r\u00e9silience est-elle une valeur incontournable<\/strong><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le changement est constant. Sans r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration intentionnelle, le stress cumul\u00e9 mine l\u2019\u00e9nergie, nuit \u00e0 la prise de d\u00e9cision et freine l\u2019innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les recherches le confirment&nbsp;:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le stress au travail affaiblit les fonctions ex\u00e9cutives et l\u2019engagement (McEwen, 1998; American Psychological Association, 2019).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les recherches de l\u2019Institut HeartMath<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que le d\u00e9veloppement de la coh\u00e9rence psychophysiologique am\u00e9liore la clart\u00e9, l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9 et la pr\u00e9sence en mati\u00e8re de leadership (McCraty et al., 2001; McCraty, 2017).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Harvard Business Review identifie la r\u00e9silience comme l&#8217;un des facteurs cl\u00e9s les plus importants pour un leadership efficace (Coutu, 2002; George et al., 2007).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce qui rend les leaders r\u00e9silients?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des \u00e9tudes en neurosciences et en leadership d\u00e9montrent constamment que les leaders r\u00e9silients d\u00e9veloppent&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>L\u2019acceptation de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9<\/strong>&nbsp;: trouver un sens \u00e0 l\u2019adversit\u00e9 (Bonanno, 2004).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>La clart\u00e9 des valeurs&nbsp;<\/strong>: fonder les d\u00e9cisions sur des valeurs solides (George et al., 2007).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>L\u2019imagination et l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9&nbsp;<\/strong>: recadrer les d\u00e9fis de mani\u00e8re cr\u00e9ative (Boyatzis, 2018).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>L\u2019agilit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle&nbsp;<\/strong>: passer de la r\u00e9activit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019intention (David &amp; Congleton, 2013).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La physiologie de la r\u00e9silience&nbsp;: la coh\u00e9rence en action<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9silience ne consiste pas \u00e0 supporter le stress pendant longtemps, mais de votre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer efficacement en temps r\u00e9el.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsque nous ressentons de la frustration ou de l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, notre rythme cardiaque devient irr\u00e9gulier, ce qui nuit \u00e0 la communication entre le c\u0153ur et le cerveau (Thayer&nbsp;et&nbsp;al.,&nbsp;2012).
